Will compete in Clark County this weekend
(VEVAY, Ind.) – Switzerland County High School has four student-athletes who have qualified for the Varsity Bowling Regionals.
Evan Bosaw, Taylor Jones, Braxton Eaglin and Tianna Hess will compete at the Regional tournament in Clarksville.
Pacers head coach Wade Hughes tells The 812 that each student has rightfully earned their spot at regionals.
“Each bowler has put multiple hours into practicing and advancing to Regionals is their reward for all their hard work. We have a lot of bowling talent in Switzerland County,” Hughes said.
While Taylor and Tianna have both been to regionals before, Bosaw qualified for a tournament because he achieved Academic All State last March.
Freshman Braxton Eaglin is their high-average bowler with a score of 166 per game.
“My goal is to build our program and grow the sport of bowling in our area. I want to bring home some Sectional, Regional and ultimately a State titles,” the coach added.
The 812 is rooting on each of these students and will update this story after Regionals.
