$4K grant given to create Ripley Co. film fest next summer

Indiana Arts Commission awarded the grant

(BATESVILLE, Ind.) – The Ripley County Community Foundation is receiving a $4,000 grant from the Indiana Arts Commission.

The funding will support Ripley Youth Outreach’s First Annual ‘Ripley County Film Fest’ through the Arts Project Support grant program.

Organizers are in the planning stages of the Film Festival but say it will take place next summer.

The Ripley County Community Foundation is incredibly grateful to the Indiana Arts Commission for their unwavering support of arts and cultural opportunities in rural communities, stated Amy Streator, Executive Director. This grant from the Arts Project Support program allows ‘Ripley Youth Outreach’ to bring the Ripley County Film Fest to life, fostering a celebration of creativity and connection for our residents. The Indiana Arts Commission's commitment to fostering a vibrant arts scene across the state is truly invaluable, and we're thrilled to be a part of it.

The community foundation was one of 338 organizations to receive funding from the Indiana Arts Commission this month.
