Even made a fancy sign that got him on television!
(NORTH VERNON, Ind.) – A North Vernon boy is learning all about the value of hard work and budgeting.
7-year-old Roger Frazier has organized his own lemonade stand the past few years. His parents have allowed him to either save or spend the money he collects from selling lemonade.
In the past, he had goals of buying a toy or a trip to Chuck E. Cheese, but this year was his biggest challenge yet.
Frazier set his sights on attending the WWE match in Indianapolis and his goal was to have his own spending money while he was there.
His initial goal was to raise $100 and he devoted two weeks this summer to selling lemonade at his home.
Frazier’s work did not disappoint as the young boy ended up collecting more than $300.
He was able to attend the WWE event and even make a ‘fancy sign’ that landed him on TV on Monday.
His mother, Morgan Beebe, is crediting the support from the community for making his wish come true.
“From the bottom of our hearts his father and I are so extremely thankful. We as his parents are trying to help him learn the value of money. He is only 7-years-old, however, we are hoping that by earning his own spending money for these extra trips it will help him in the future with his budgeting and work ethic,” Beebe said.
Frazier is also a big fan of law enforcement. Click here to see what he did for the North Vernon Police Department last August.
