Volleyball, cross country, golf and football
(SOUTHEAST INDIANA) – Here are some scores and recaps from local sports in our area this past weekend.
Last week, two local volleyball teams were crowned SEI Champions. The Batesville 7th grade team and the Greendale 8th grade team won their respective tournaments.
Area middle schoolers competed in the Indiana Middle School Cross Country Championships. Here is the team that performed the best.
In golf, two local girls finished in the top 10 at the IHSAA state championship. Batesville’s Ava South finished fifth overall out of the entire field. Just a few spots behind her was East Central junior Rowan Pies who finished seventh!
On the football field, here are some final scores from varsity action on Friday:
