Amack's Well gives $11K to nonprofits Wednesday

Coffee house located on George Street in Batesville

(BATESVILLE, Ind.) -- The Batesville nonprofit coffee house Amack's Well held their annual Give Back Ceremony on Wednesday night.


Amack's handed out $11,000 to six different local organizations.


The funds went to the Matthew 19:26 Mission Team, Cub Scout Pack 636, Batesville Pregnancy Hotline, Infamous Few Charity Riders, So Loved Closet, and Southeastern Indiana Voices for Children.


The coffee shop has given out more than $97K since its inception.


“As an organization we are very honored to be able to bless our community while honoring our mission to provide a community gathering place in the city of Batesville that is a safe

environment for all age groups and will cultivate relationships and foster a sense of community,” Amack's board president Curtis Gillman said.
