Area students eligible for Anthony Munoz scholarships

(CINCINNATI) -- Know a local high school senior who is planning to attend a Tri-State college next year?

They could be eligible for scholarships through the Anthony Muñoz Foundation Scholarship.

Muñoz is a former Bengals great who is an NFL Hall of Famer. His foundation will give scholarships to hundreds of Tri-State students this year.

To be eligible, the student must attend a high school in Dearborn, Franklin, Ohio, Switzerland, or Union counties.

The student must have a 3.0 GPA or higher and planning to be at a freshman at an accredited Tri-State college or university.

The application process will conclude on April 26.
