ARI Adventure Trek in Lawrenceburg Sept. 21

Will take place rain or shine

(LAWRENCEBURG, Ind.) – The Archaeological Research Institute will host a fun, educational program later this month.

The ARI Adventure Trek: “Journey of an Artifact” will take place at 9 a.m. on Saturday, September 21.

It is a mentally and physically challenging event where you can learn what archeologists do when they find an artifact.

“Complete the challenges the fastest to win a prize! After the race, enjoy vendor booths, a cookout, and learning activities for the whole family,” organizers said.

It is an event for all age levels as they will have family teams, student teams, adult teams as well as individual options.

The event will be at the Guard Archaeological Preserve and the Oxbow and attendees are asked to park at the Hollywood Casino Parking Garage and there is a shuttle that runs every 15 minutes.
