Teen has passion for fishing
(AURORA, Ind.) – An Aurora teenager got a big surprise on the end of his fishing line at North Hogan Creek on Saturday night.
16-year-old Konner Smith caught a massive blue catfish that weighs somewhere between 40 and 45 pounds.
“He was overjoyed and filled with excitement to catch that fish, but he hates killing the catfish and didn’t want to keep it out of the water too long,” his sister, Kalli, told The 812.
Konner is a Milan sophomore with a passion for fishing. He felt it was best to throw the catfish back into the water.
