Batesville company seeking items for first responder initiative 

Will give Blessing bags to first responders

(BATESVILLE, Ind.) – Odyssey Insurance & Investments is taking an initiative to give back to those who serve and protect. 


The second annual First Responder Event is a project where the company will provide over 100 Blessing bags to area police, firefighters, jailers and EMT’s. 


They are seeking help from the community to fill the blessing bags. 


Items being accepted include snacks, chap sticks, mini-lotions and hand sanitizers, notepads, protein bars, gift cards and coupons. 


The items can be dropped off at their office from now until August 28. 


Odyssey is located at 319 West Pearl Street in Batesville and hours of operation are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8:30 a.m. to noon on Fridays.
