Batesville library hosting author fair Saturday

(BATESVILLE, Ind.) -- The Batesville Memorial Public Library will welcome local authors and the public on Saturday, August 19.

The Author Fair will feature approximately 30 local and regional authors from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

"The Author Fair is your chance to meet the authors and hear about the writing / publishing process. In addition, they will have books available for purchase and signing," said organizers.

It features fiction, non-fiction and children’s authors and there will also be an author panel.

Complimentary self-serve coffee will be provided and there will be two food trucks.

The first 50 people who attend will receive Swag Bags and the Fair will feature a fun Author Scavenger Hunt – complete the Scavenger Hunt and your name will be entered into a door prize drawing.

The Batesville Library is located at 131 N. Walnut Street in Batesville.
