Batesville native named ISU deputy athletic director 

Promotion was announced Thursday

(BATESVILLE, Ind.) – Batesville native Angie (Menser) Lansing has been promoted to the role of Deputy Athletic Director at Indiana State University. 


Lansing has served as the Sycamores' Senior Associate Athletics Director and the Senior Woman Administrator since 2016. She has served as Indiana State's interim athletic director twice during her tenure, including this past spring semester.


As the Deputy Athletic Director, Lansing will oversee a majority of the Indiana State Athletics internal operations, as well as sport oversight.


"Angie's commitment to Indiana State and her work ethic is unmatched. In this ever-changing landscape of intercollegiate athletics she will be a big part as we continue to navigate,” said ISU Director of Athletics Nathan Christensen.


The Batesville grad was a standout track & field and cross country athlete at ISU from 1994 to 1998. She was inducted into the Indiana State Hall of Fame in 2014.

 

Lansing serves as the administrator for a variety of Sycamore sports including women's basketball, volleyball, women's soccer, women's golf, cross country, track & field, and strength and conditioning.
