Batesville to host disc golf tournament Saturday

Players of all skill levels are welcome

(BATESVILLE, Ind.) -- A frisbee disc golf tournament will take place this weekend in Batesville.

The 18-hole tournament will include the course the Liberty Park course and the Getty Community Disc Course.

Organizers say the annual tournament welcomes players of all skill levels. Participants are asked to be at the Margaret Mary pavilion at Liberty Park by 8:45 a.m. for the 9 a.m. start.

When registering, if you would like to play with certain players in your group, please write their names in the “notes” section. Only 5 players are allowed per group.

The majority of players will receive a custom-stamped Innova disc along with one raffle ticket.

Trophies will be awarded to the top 3 players in each division as long as there are 3 players in that division.
