Batesville volleyball wins Greenfield tournament

Lady Bulldogs continue great season

(GREENFIELD, Ind.) -- The Lady Bulldogs volleyball team traveled to Greenfield- Central on Saturday to participate in an eight team tournament.

The Dogs were undefeated on the day and only dropped one set.

The Bulldogs came away with a trophy and Aly Peters, Sophie Gesell, Maddie Haskamp, and Maggie Wilson made the all tournament team.

Aly Peters was named the MVP of the tournament.

Batesville defeated Whiteland, Greenfield and Lapel before beating Edinburgh in two sets.

The team is now 18-6 on the year and will face Franklin County on Tuesday.
