Bengals release Lawrenceburg native Drue Chrisman

Was starting punter last year for Cincinnati

(CINCINNATI) -- The Cincinnati Bengals have released punter Drue Chrisman, according to numerous reports.


The Lawrenceburg native was competing for the punting job with rookie Brad Robbins during Training Camp.


Chrisman won the job last year and replaced long-time Bengal Kevin Huber.


The Ohio State grad could end up on another NFL team in need of a punter.


The 812 caught up with Chrisman last month when he participated in a football camp for youth players in Lawrenceburg:
