Local non-profit raises funds for Batesville events
(BATESVILLE, Ind.) – The Beta Sigma Phi sorority wrote a $1,250 check to the Margaret Mary Health Foundation.
The donation will go toward events such as the Hospice Walk, Stop The Stigma, Cycle To Remember, and Girls On The Run.
The non-profit sorority raised the funds during their annual Holiday Bazaar.
“The chapter members raise money for many charities and worthy causes with their annual Holiday Bazaar each November, as well as their sale of homemade pies every fall,” said Beta Sigma Phi member Val Stutler.
Beta Sigma Phi was founded in 1931 and serves as a friendship organization that participates in service projects and supports various philanthropic endeavors.
