Beta Sigma Phi gives scholarship to BHS senior

Gave check to senior pursuing interior design

(BATESVILLE, Ind.) – A Batesville senior is getting financial assistance for college from a local non-profit. 

Maggie Beiser received $1,200 from Beta Sigma Phi as she plans to attend the University of Cincinnati and major in Interior Design. 

Each year, the local Beta Sigma Phi sorority gives out this financial award to a local graduate.

This sorority is an international service organization which was first founded in Kansas in 1931.

The local chapter was formed in 1963 and has contributed to this community through their service, donations, and fundraisers. This sorority uses their profits from their annual Holiday Bazaar to give many donations, as well as this financial assistance.
