Marlins travel to Cincinnati this weekend
(HOUSTON) – Batesville native Bryan Hoeing will be back on the mound for the Miami Marlins Wednesday night.
He has been named the starting pitcher against the Astros in Houston.
Hoeing started against the White Sox on Friday where he struck out four batters and gave up five hits in three innings.
He has an impressive 1.99 ERA his Major League season and was sidelined from May 2 to early July with a hamstring injury.
The Marlins will travel to Cincinnati this weekend and it appears likely Hoeing will make the trip.
Tickets are available for the Friday-Sunday series, however, there is no guarantee Hoeing will pitch, based on his spot in the rotation.
