Program for Industrial Integration Academy students from Decatur County
(BATESVILLE, Ind.) -- Batesville Tool & Die welcomed the Industrial Integration Academy students from Decatur County to their facility on Tuesday.
Students learned how manufacturing is more important today more than ever, BTD program coordinator Toby Walsman said.
He praised these students for taking action of their careers early while still in school as it opens up avenues of mixing education with good work habits.
Over the course of nine weeks, students will have the opportunity to engage weekly with BTD professionals in the areas of Engineering/Design, Machining, Tooling/Weld Fab, Quality, Assembly, Stamping, Industrial Maintenance and Automation, where they will get a true understanding of what it takes to elevate their future goals in Manufacturing.
“We are very excited to offer this opportunity and hopeful that we can raise these student’s Knowledge and create a great energy for them to stay with Manufacturing as that’s what this country needs right now, more youths getting involved in Manufacturing.” Walsman said.
