Volunteer firefighters receive new gear
(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – Community members in the Burney Clay Volunteer Fire Department coverage area can sleep easier tonight.
Their volunteer firefighters have just received brand new gear to better combat fires.
They received new helmets and turnout gear that are designed to provide maximum protection from heat, flames, and other hazards encountered during fires.
With this new gear, the department will be able to respond more efficiently to emergencies in the community.
"We would like to extend a thank you to our community for their continuous support! Without all of you the updates being made to our department wouldn’t be possible,” the volunteer department said on Facebook.
