Business owner honors veterans with flag flying from crane

Flies USA flag from crane

(VERSAILLES, Ind.) – A 2013 Jac-Cen-Del grad who owns an excavating and construction company makes it his mission to display patriotism several times a year.

Alex Rork and his wife, Kaitlyn, own MainLine Crane Service as well as AKR Excavating & Transport.

They proudly fly an American flag from the top of a crane every Veterans Day, Memorial Day and July 4.

“We just have a really deep love for the country and veterans that have allowed us to live in a place where we can start a business and be successful at it,” Rork told The 812.

A passerby on County Road 600 South near Versailles noticed the crane this week and recommended that the Rork’s be commended for their patriotism.
