Cameras catch alleged burglar in Jennings County 

Suspect facing multiple charges

(HAYDEN, Ind.) – A North Vernon man is facing multiple charges after an alleged burglary in the Hayden area on Tuesday.


Authorities were contacted after building materials were stolen from a home that was being built. 


There was a camera on the property which allowed police to identify the suspected vehicle. 


A Jennings County deputy stopped the vehicle later in the day and the driver was identified as 34-year-old Eric Hubbard. 


Hubbard allegedly admitted to taking items from the home. 


Investigators said the vehicle he was driving was stolen from Lafayette and they also discovered that he had stolen a trailer earlier in the day. 


According to police, they also found Methamphetamine during the traffic stop.


Hubbard is facing multiple charges including burglary, theft, and possession of methamphetamine.
