(MILAN, Ind.) – At least one crash led to a power outage along State Road 48 Tuesday morning.
The first crash happened near State Road 101 around 4 a.m. and a power line was knocked down and in the roadway
A resident who lives in the area reached out to The 812 and tells us that another car came by and struck that utility pole that was laying in the road.
“The odd thing about it all is the people in both vehicles took off,” the person said.
Approximately 30 Duke Energy customers in the immediate area lost power as a result. The utility company expects power to be restored around noon today.
