(VERSAILLES, Ind.) – The search for missing teenager Carson Hughes will continue Sunday morning at Versailles State Park.
The 18-year-old was reported missing at the state park Friday afternoon.
Officials and volunteers spent all of Saturday searching land and water for Hughes.
The search was suspended due to darkness and will resume at 7 a.m. on Sunday.
The public is urged to remain clear of the search area at Versailles Lake.
DNR officials say his vehicle was found unlocked with the keys still within the vehicle near the boat ramp and his kayak was located in the water nearby.
If anyone has information about this situation, you are urged to call Indiana DNR Dispatch Center at (812) 837-9536.
Hughes is a senior at Jac-Cen-Del and his photography was featured in our first 812 Magazine in January.
