All Saints Parish bringing new life to historic building
(GUILFORD, Ind.) -- All Saints Parish is giving new life to a historic building in the heart of Dover.
What used to be the home of Stout's Brick house is now a coffee shop with plenty of food options and a specific purpose of welcoming everyone.
Ars Cafe & Meeting House was created by the church to bring community members together, regardless of someone's religious beliefs.
"Just because this is operated by All Saints Parish, that does not mean this is just for Catholics. Also, it's not just for individuals who even believe in God. This is a place where people can come together and just be real," said Father Johnathan Meyer.
It was a three year process to bring this idea to reality. There was a ribbon cutting ceremony held Sunday evening ahead of their first full day of business on Monday.
Ars Cafe & Meeting House is open Monday through Saturdays from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
