Rose passed away at 83 on Monday
(CINCINNATI) – Several Cincinnati sports icons are taking to social media to honor Pete Rose Monday night.
Rose was a Cincinnati native who broke Major League Baseball’s all-time hit record in 1985.
His baseball achievements would later be overshadowed by allegations of him betting on baseball games, an accusation that he admitted during an ABC interview in 2004.
