Civista named Dearborn Co. Chamber large business of year

Annual dinner will be held next month

(LAWRENCEBURG, Ind.) -- The Dearborn County Chamber of Commerce is announcing the large and small business of the year along with other awards.

The selections were made by the Chamber's Board of Directors after reviewing multiple nominees for each award.

Civista Bank was named the Large Business of the Year. The bank has branches in Aurora, Lawrenceburg and St. Leon among other locations in Southeast Indiana.

The Chamber also named Midwest Data, Inc. (MDI) as the Small Business of the Year.

MDI specializes in computers, communications and networking and is located on Walnut Street in Lawrenceburg.

In other categories, Karen Snyder of United Way earned the Chamber Chairperson’s Award and Mike Galle of Hollywood Casino was given the Dearborn County Young Professionals Award.

The honorees will be recognized during the Dearborn County Chamber Dinner on November 9.
