Has given back to different organizations this summer
(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – A North Decatur eighth grader is making a significant difference in her community.
Chloe Kramer was awarded the Youth Power and Hope Award by the Indiana Electric Cooperative in December for making a positive impact in Decatur County.
In addition to her award, she was given $500 to further her community involvement.
Kramer used that money to build 100 gift bags to be given to young patients at Decatur County Memorial Hospital.
The gift bags contain various items such as Play-Doh, stickers, stuffed animals, coloring books, pop-its, sports and Pokémon cards, and more.
The 13-year-old also stepped up during the Decatur County 4-H Fair earlier this summer.
She created and sold bracelets and the funds went toward feed, toys, litter and supplies for animals at the Greensburg Decatur County Animal Shelter.
Kramer is involved in various extracurricular activities and enjoys helping others and making a positive impact in her community.
She is the daughter of Pat and Melissa Kramer, of Greensburg.
Here are a few photos of Chloe giving back to the community along with her bracelets she made!
