Community members honor life of 23-year-old in St. Mary's

Jeep, side-by-side ride in honor of Luke Schwegman

(ST. MARY'S, Ind.) -- Family, friends and community members took to the backroads to remember a St. Mary's man who passed away far too young.

23-year-old Luke Schwegman took his life on August 1, 2021. His unexpected death sent shockwaves through the rural Franklin County community.

Jeeps and side-by-sides were invited to the second annual Memorial Ride on Saturday.

All the proceeds went toward suicide prevention.
