Congresswoman visits Batesville, Franklin County Friday

Rep. Houchin visited several locations in the area

(BATESVILLE, Ind.) -- Indiana Congresswoman Erin Houchin was in the Batesville-area as part her District 9 tour on Friday.

The republican representative toured the Southeastern Indiana YMCA, Batesville Schools, Kroger in Batesville and the Whitewater Canal

Rep. Houchin says the visits are intended to get feedback from constituents on the challenges they face as well as what lawmakers in Washington, D.C. can be doing better.

The 9th District covers 18 counties and Rep. Houchin plans to visit each over the next few weeks.
