Teens help program that connects vets with service dogs
(CONNERSVILLE, Ind.) – Connersville High School’s shop class is making a difference that goes beyond the classroom.
Industrial Tech teacher Bobby Revalee gave his class a unique assignment to build doghouses for a non-profit organization that most of the students had never heard of.
The non-profit is called Heroes Wildlife Adventures and they help partner veterans with service dogs, while also giving outdoor experiences to veterans who are struggling.
Connersville students built and donated 7 doghouses and the donation was made Friday.
