Won for fourth time in a row
(GREENSBURG, Ind) – Decatur County Memorial Hospital’s Obstetrics/Women’s Center team has won the INspire Hospital of Distinction Award.
Annually, the Indiana Hospital Association awards OB departments across the state for demonstrating success across five fundamental aspects: safe sleep, breastfeeding, tobacco use prevention, perinatal substance use, and safety bundles.
“I couldn’t be more proud of our incredible team. We will continue putting best practices forward as we provide care and education to our mothers and newborns. We are dedicated to continued education and providing quality care to reduce infant and maternal mortality,” said Tammy Sidell, DCMH Women’s Center/ OB manager.
This is the fourth year in a row they have won the award.
