The Milan junior is a force on the volleyball court
(MILAN, Ind.) – A Milan volleyball player has been nominated and earned the DCMH Athlete of the Week!
Junior Emma Voss had some big time performances last week, notching 32 kills, 45 digs, 85 KA’s and a 91 percent serve rate in six matches.
An opposing coach tells us that Voss is one of the best setters in Southeast Indiana. That coach also recognized Emma for her mental toughness.
Milan head coach April Poole says she is impressed with her attitude on and off the court.
“What some people might not see is her drive and motivation. It is not just for volleyball, but at life. Her education is extremely important to her, and anything that she puts her mind to she can achieve,” Poole told The 812.
Milan is currently 10-5 with their next match being at Oldenburg Academy on Thursday.
