Dearborn Co. Sheriff launches free public safety app

You can also request a patrol unit, anonymously report a crime and more

(LAWRENCEBURG, Ind.) -- Dearborn County residents can now receive emergency alerts and report crimes with the click of a button.


The sheriff's office has launched a free app to provide important information quickly and

efficiently to anyone with a smartphone.


The app sends out push notifications for emergency situations and traffic closures.


You can also request a patrol unit, anonymously report a crime, research sex offenders, most wanted suspects, and see the inmate list in the Dearborn County Jail.


It is now available to download for free in the App Store and Google Play by searching “Dearborn County Sheriff, IN."


The app was developed by TheSheriffApp.com.
