Health Department hoping to locate all locations
(VERSAILLES, Ind.) – The Ripley County Health Department is asking the community to help them identify where AED’s are located.
An AED, also known as an automated external defibrillator, is a medical device that can make a life-saving difference when someone is experiencing sudden cardiac arrest.
The health department believes there might be some AED’s throughout Ripley County that they are unaware of.
“People have them that we don’t know about, and we want to make sure we know where every AED is, incase of an emergency where one might be needed nearby,” Health Department Administrator Paul Tyrer said.
