East Central QB Burton announces commitment

(ST. LEON, Ind.) -- Two-time state champion quarterback Cole Burton will play college football.

The East Central senior announced his commitment to Ohio Dominican University on Tuesday night.

Burton said, "First of all I want to thank God for the opportunity to play the sport that I love the most. All glory to Him!"

"I want to thank my parents and sister for the endless hours of support, travel, and love that has pushed me to be the very best person, student, and athlete that I can possibly be," he added.

He also credits his teammates, coaches, friends and the community for their support over the years.
