EC grad pens new country song

Moved to Nashville last year

(NASHVILLE, TN.) – East Central graduate Samuel Sehlhorst is pursuing his country music dreams in Nashville.

He moved to the Music City in 2022 after studying engineering at the University of Cincinnati.

Sehlhorst, who goes by Sam Anthony, is both a singer and songwriter who challenged himself to write 100 country songs during his first year in Nashville.

A song that he wrote was released on Thursday.

It’s called “Songs My Momma Hates” and was performed by Michael James Arnold.

The song is available on Spotify and other streaming services and we have a link by clicking here.

When he’s not working in Nashville, Sam occasionally returns to the area and performs at local establishments including Eight Top Grill, Shift, Proof 124 and All Saints Parish in St. Leon.
