(LAWRENCEBURG, Ind.) -- The East Central and Lawrenceburg matchup was one of the most anticipated high school football games in the Tri-State on Friday.

Trojan senior Josh Ringer was ready to go from the onset by rushing for three touchdowns in the first quarter.

Ringer added three more touchdowns before halftime.

He has committed to play collegiately at Miami (Ohio) and is an early season candidate for Mr. Indiana Football.

East Central defeated Lawrenceburg 42-7 as both teams eye a repeat of last season when the Trojans and Tigers both went to the state championship.
