Seniors will continue their football careers at Division 1 schools
(ST.LEON, Ind.) -- Two East Central seniors signed their letters of intent on National Signing Day on Wednesday.
Josh Ringer, who won Indiana Mr. Football, officially committed to Miami University in Ohio.
East Central head coach Jake Meiners said, "Josh Ringer is every coach’s dream. He is one of the hardest workers and a two-year team captain. He has had many accolades in his career, and he has earned every single one of them. He puts in so much work off the field and it pays off for him. He had led the nation most of the year in touchdowns, and he is one of the premier running backs in the state.
Standout Trojans receiver Ryan Brotherton also signed his letter of intent to play at Western Michigan.
Coach Meiners said, "He is always willing to help others and is a leader at his position group. Ryan comes from a wonderful family who has raised him well. Ryan will only continue to get better at Western Michigan, and I can’t wait to see him compete.”
Both players were recruited by several schools. Ringer was also recruited my multiple Ivy League universities.
