EC's Ringer named best running back in Indiana

(ST. LEON, Ind.) -- Two-time state champion Josh Ringer received another individual honor on Monday.

Ringer was voted as the best running back in the state by the Indiana Football Coaches Association during their all-state meeting.

The senior is one of 10 players eligible for the Mr. Football award later this month.

Ringer rushed for 2,880 yards and 55 touchdowns this year. He had more than 6,500 rushing yards and nearly 120 touchdowns during this Trojans career.

He has committed to continue his football career at Miami of Ohio.
