Fourth annual Trojan Toss
(ST. LEON, Ind.) – A group of East Central students organize a community event every spring that took place Sunday.
The fourth annual Trojan Toss is a cornhole competition that also includes a variety of activities, food and prizes.
It is organized by Trojan Exchange, a student-led business located within the high school.
The students design EC apparel, and sell it in-person and online, with the majority of the proceeds going toward a scholarship program. Trojan Exchange is created to give students an opportunity to learn the inner workings of operating a business.
“It helps raise money to help with senior scholarships for those who put in the most work in this program,” said Trojan Exchange member Olivia Turner.
Senior Amaya Williamson helped organize Sunday’s event and said there were 35 teams who signed up to participate.
"Everything that went into the event today was by the students. We had help from our advisor, but it is really impressive that a bunch of teenagers came up with this all by ourselves,” Williamson said.

The event also included Doc’s Coffee and several other vendors.
