Rain possible throughout the weekend
(BATESVILLE, Ind.) – The remnants of Hurricane Helene will impact Southeast Indiana through the weekend.
The hurricane made landfall late last night in Florida's Big Bend region.
Here locally, rain, with periods of heavy rain, are possible throughout the day.
There is also the possibility of wind gusts as high as 50 miles per hour.
The storms could interrupt some evening and weekend plans, including high school football games, the Franklin County Antique Machinery Show, and other events.
Rain is possible through Monday night.
Weather Wave’s Chad Gutzwiller says parts of Southeast Indiana could see upwards of three-and-a-half inches of rain by the time it’s all said and done.
