FC’s Lunsford signs with Wilmington College

(BROOKVILLE, Ind.) – Franklin County senior Clayton Lunsford will continue his shotput career at Wilmington College in Ohio. 

His signing was held during the Lady Wildcat’s basketball game on Tuesday night. 

Lunsford said he chose Wilmington because the school had a hometown feel plus a good sports medicine program.

“I’d  like to thank my mom, family and friends for the support through the years and   Wilmington for allowing me to continue my athletic and academic future with them,” he told The 812.

Lunsford is third in Franklin County history for indoor shotput.
