FC wrestling completes 26-0 regular season

Wildcats capped of the season at home Wednesday night

(BROOKVILLE, Ind.) -- The Franklin County wrestling team is having a special year.

The Wildcats earned their first EIAC wrestling championship since 2017 this past weekend.

On Wednesday, they hosted Talawanda and won by a score of 69-6 to cap off the regular season.

Franklin County improves to 26-0 as the team now focuses on the sectionals that begin on January 28.

This year, the team is honoring Derik 'Bub' Orschell, a beloved teacher, coach and community member, who lost his cancer battle last summer.
