Fire along railroad track in Lawrenceburg

Happened Sunday night

(LAWRENCEBURG, Ind.) – Lawrenceburg firefighters had to extinguish a fire along railroad tracks late Sunday night. 

A person noticed the fire around 11:45 p.m. on AEP Drive. 

Officials railroad ties that were in a stack caught fire. There is no word on what caused the blaze. 

Due to the location, firefighters had to use tankers to extinguish the fire.
