First responders recognized for saving cardiac arrest patient

Helped save patient earlier this summer

(LAWRENCEBURG, Ind.) -- First responders who were involved in the care of a cardiac arrest patient in August were recognized at the Lawrenceburg City Council meeting Monday.


St. Elizabeth Healthcare & Dearborn County 911 Communications presented

special recognitions firefighters, deputies and dispatchers.


Those recognized were paramedics Nathan Batchelor and Felicia Sullivan, Lawrenceburg Fire firefighters Rob Schutte, Bryan Grubbs and Brandon Givan, Dearborn County deputy Richie Lay and Dearborn County dispatcher Richard Stutz.


Dearborn County 911 Communications also recognized dispatchers Alex Hartman and Rebecca Hoffrogge.


“Once again our Public Safety groups show that we are one of the best trained units in the area. What a great example of everyone working together to ensure a positive outcome,” said Lawrenceburg mayor Mayor Kelly Mollaun.
