Former MLB players, coaches in Batesville Saturday

Event will be at Batesville Liquor Co.

(BATESVILLE, Ind.) -- The Batesville Liquor Co. is hosting an event that will connect baseball fans with former MLB players and coaches this Saturday.


Former Reds manager Dave Miley will be joined by former MLB players Dyar Miller and Drew Storen.


Miley managed the Reds from 2003 to 2005 and was also a longtime manager for the New York Yankees Triple-A affiliate.


Miller was born in the Batesville area and pitched for the Orioles, Angels, Blue Jays and Mets between 1975 and 1981. He later served as a coach in the Cardinals and Astros organizations before retiring a few years ago.


Storen is an Indianapolis native who pitched for the Reds in 2017. He also played for the Nationals, Blue Jays and Mariners.


The Batesville Liquor Co. will host the meet-and-greet from 4-7 p.m. on Saturday, July 29.
