Gallery: GCHS students organize fundraiser for Carson Hughes

Students explain why they organized it:

(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – Greensburg students came together to support another school in a unique way Friday night. 

The junior and senior class girls held a powder puff game at Shriver Field.

All proceeds from the game went to the Carson Hughes Memorial Fund, in honor of the Jac-Cen-Del senior. 

It was organized by students Kenzie Ebbing and Francesca Verzo. 

“We really wanted to bring awareness to the fact that when a community near us is hurt, we are able to come together and truly show our support,” Ebbing said. 

The game was not close though as the Junior team cruised to a 30-6 victory.
