Visited Decatur, Ripley counties to start the week
(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – United States Congresswoman Erin Houchin has been meeting with businesses and organizations in Southeast Indiana this week.
Congress is currently in recess and Rep. Houchin is using the time to tour the area.
On Monday, she met with local farmers through the Indiana Corn and Soybean Alliance. Afterward, she met with officials from the City of Greensburg before visiting Hulsbosch Dairy Farm in Letts.
Hulsbosch Farm was created in 2008 by a family who immigrated from Belgium to Decatur County. The dairy farm has over 8,000 cattle and you can learn more about their operations by clicking here.
On Tuesday, Rep. Houchin’s day began with a small business roundtable discussion at the Ripley County Chamber of Commerce. She also visited an apartment complex in Sunman before meeting with other community stakeholders in Batesville.
