Golf outing raises $10K for Down Syndrome organizations

Was held at North Branch Golf Course

(NEW POINT, Ind.) – A recent golf outing was held to celebrate a young Batesville boy with Down Syndrome. 


The inaugural “Oh, My Gus” outing named after Gus Wuestefeld was held at North Branch Golf Course . 


The tournament raised funds for Down Syndrome Indiana (DSI) and Ruby’s Rainbow. 


DSI  serves individuals with Down Syndrome as well as their families in multiple ways.


Ruby’s Rainbow raises money to provide scholarships for people with Down Syndrome to go to college. 


The local tournament raised a total of $10,005 which will be given to the two organizations. 


Gus is the son of Kim and Scott Wuestefeld, of Batesville.
