Numerous chases over past few months
(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – The Greensburg Police Department is sharing information on recent police pursuits.
They have been involved in several chases over the past three months.
“The pursuits were initiated in other locations and have resulted in the arrests of five different individuals,” said Police Chief Mike McNealy.
Some of the charges that have resulted include auto theft, drug possession, OWI and warrants.
Two of the chases involved men from Greensburg while others involved people from out of town.
“The Officers of Greensburg Police Department are steadfast in protecting the citizens of the
Greensburg community from all criminal behavior and continue to enforce the laws of the State of Indiana,” McNealy said.
The police department is crediting the Decatur County Sheriff’s Office, Batesville Police, Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Office, Columbus Police, Indiana State Police and Decatur County Communications for their involvement during these incidents.
